Cavity Closer
Cavity Closers not only form the opening in new build brickwork but also close the cavity off at the same time giving the ideal surface on which to fix the window and door frame.
Available in 75mm, 90mm and 100mm the ‘U’ shaped closer is braced in the upright with 1 or 2 braces according to the height and includes the brick ties for fitting the closer in place.
Other options include a head vent for trickle ventilation, frame clips for easy installation of the frame, frame hangers for installation of the cavity closer before the brickwork is built and fire socks for building regulations.

The insulated cavity closer forms the opening and closes the cavity in one.
Brick ties are cemented between the bricks to hold the cavity closer in position.
